If you are having trouble finding sheet metal to make your own patch panels, we may be able to help. We keep in stock 18, 19 and 20 ga. CRS in soft temper (aluminum killed, drawing quality) for ease of fabrication. Commercial temper material is often too hard to form by hand or even with hammer and mallet if the forming is severe. We recommend 19 ga material for most body panels on older cars and 20 ga if the forming is severe such as floor pan panels and other sections with lots of curves. The 18 ga material is ideal for structural supports and stiffeners. If you need material not shown you can email us. We may be able to help. We keep the material listed above in 23 1/2" square panels and in 24" x 48" panels. These are shipped by Fed Ex Ground, which is the least expensive method.
